Council of Leaf was built by an aficionado who believed that cigar lovers deserved more than a storefront — they deserved a home. A place to buy, to remember, and to belong.

Council of Leaf was born out of a simple frustration: cigar lovers had nowhere that truly served them. You could walk into a shop and feel overwhelmed, or order online and receive something in poor condition with no context for what you were smoking. The conversation — the real one, between people who love the leaf — was scattered across forums, social media, and smoke-filled back rooms.
So we built something different. Not just a store, but a destination. A place where you can discover and purchase premium cigars from the world's finest producers, log every smoke in your personal Council Ledger, and sit down in The Ember Lounge to share a live session with fellow aficionados from anywhere in the world.

Why a Husky?
Every brand has a symbol. Ours is a Siberian Husky — and she has a name.
Her name was Zoey. She was a Siberian Husky who belonged to the founder of Council of Leaf, and she was, without question, the most resilient creature he had ever known. Through every hardship, every setback, every season of adversity, Zoey was there — steady, loyal, and full of a love that asked for nothing in return.
Huskies are built for the long haul. They don't quit when the trail gets hard. They run through blizzards, they endure, and they do it together — as a pack. Zoey embodied all of that. She was a reminder that resilience isn't about never struggling; it's about showing up anyway, every single time.
When it came time to put a mark on this brand, there was only one choice. Because the values Zoey lived — loyalty, resilience, unconditional love — are the same values we want this community to carry. We want Council of Leaf to be the place you show up to, no matter where you are in your journey. The place that meets you where you are and walks with you.

Origin First
We source from the world's finest tobacco-growing regions — the Dominican Republic, Nicaragua, Honduras, Cuba, and beyond. Every blend is traced to its origin.
Aged to Perfection
We only carry cigars that have been properly aged and stored. A cigar that hasn't rested is a cigar that hasn't reached its potential.
Small-Batch Blends
We favor boutique and small-batch producers who prioritize craft over volume. You won't find mass-market fillers in our humidor.
Consistent Quality
Every shipment is inspected before it goes out. We check draw, construction, and wrapper integrity — because your experience matters from the first smoke to the last.
